Car Rental Takatsu

After you've checked out all of the great attractions in Takatsu, there's a lot more to explore in the surrounding region. Pick up the keys to a rental car, pack your bags in the trunk and get going. We've come up with some road trips we know you'll enjoy:

• Ito is roughly 55 miles from Takatsu. Notable sights like Izu Oceanic Park deserve to be at the top of your list while you're in town.
• Your next pit stop? It has to be Nagano, which is around 110 miles away. Nagano Olympic Stadium is one local hot spot you really shouldn't miss.
• Get out into the outdoors and breathe in some fresh air at Shirotori Garden. You'll find it around 160 miles from Takatsu.

If you don't possess a driver's license issued in Japan, then you'll likely need to acquire an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence to be allowed to rent a car. You should also note that if you do need an IDP, it won't be valid on its own. You'll have to show your current driver's license your passport and other forms of identification as well. Lastly, it's important that the credit card used to book the rental matches the name on your license and passport. A few other things to note for international car rentals are:
