"Stayed at the Gloucester Point cottage for graduation weekend at CNU in nearby Newport News (pretty easy ~35 min drive to the campus). What a great find! The 360* views were spectacular with all kinds of waterfowl in the marshes off of the York River. The house was nicely equipped and furnished and perfect for a small family gathering. The Mills were very responsive to address questions/concerns. The outdoor property/deck provided an excellent venue for a family celebration. Unlike many rentals I’ve encountered, the grill was immaculate and perfect for our cook out. I would definitely stay again. There was a great selection of stores and local restaurants on the Gloucester side and accessible with a short drive to Yorktown which kept us close except for the trips to CNU for the campus events."

"Well equipped and clean. Everything was in working condition. We enjoyed our stay. The fish didn't cooperate but it was probably a bit too early for that."

"You do have a golf cart available in the front of the hotel. You really should have someone drive people to & from the parking lots. A few times coming in to the hotel at night there is insufficient lighting and no-one ever to ride you back from the parking lots."
