The toilet in our original room didn’t work. As a result, we were upgraded to an oceanfront kitchenette room for our entire stay (4nights). The room was absolutely beautiful and perfect! Excellent customer service!!!!! We loved our stay there and will definitely be back!

Great mid afternoon snacks and hearty breakfast.

This hotel completely dropped the ball on our reservation. We went thought Expedia to book and that part was very easy. We checked in Thursday and everything went well. On Saturday at 3:45 we had a knock on our door demanding that we pack up immediate and move rooms. Apparently the room wasn’t available for the entirety of our trip and we were supposed to switch rooms half way through the stay. However, the front desk staff failed to tell us this when we checked in. We had no idea that the room wasn’t available for the whole weekend until that moment. We had to move 6 people, plus all of the food in the fridge to a different room with 20 minutes notice. We missed our dinner reservation because they told us we had no choice but to move right then. We paid full price for our stay, missed a dinner reservation, and got absolutely nothing from the hotel. It was terrible customer service, especially when it was their fault they didn’t tell us we would need to change rooms at check in. Very disappointing considering we only had 4 days in OBX and we had never been there before.
