“House keeping was great. This property is within uber distance to merchants square plus the shuttle runs until 9pm except for Sunday nights. We were a little disappointed by the AC unit in our room it never seemed to cool down the space.”
“The plus was it was close to Busch Gardens which was why we were there. We had an adjoining room with our teen son and his friends. The property felt very dated and was disappointing. Besides proximity, the pool was a reason we chose the hotel and it was closed for the day. Also, the breakfast buffet was on the same level as other similar hotels but was $16 per person and not worth it. I doubt we would stay here again.”
“The management was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was good. Loved the waffles! The location was very good to get to Busch Gardens but there were no restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is old and needs some repairs but the room was clean and did not smell!”
“The property itself is quite good—newly renovated facilities, a convenient location, and a nice free breakfast. It’s easy to see why it has a 9.0 rating and overall, it’s worth it.
However, I was assigned a room right next to the ice machine and emergency exit. I checked in late at night and didn’t realize the potential for noise. Unfortunately, the receptionist didn’t mention anything about it, even though I was traveling with kids.
