“We were a group of three families (plus a dog) and the house and gardens were phenomenal. The kitchen and the secret garden were our main areas for convening. All facilities were great, and as an avid cook, the kitchen set up and equipment was top notch. ”

Nice location and suitable base to drive to other parts of the region. The cottage was clean and presented as described. WiFi was excellent throughout ( I know that’s required for some, but not us) Has a small back garden, which is gated and perfect for dogs to stretch their legs.”

“From the moment I arrived, the scenery was beautiful. The lake with various different birds, the trees, forest etc. I loved the cabin, just perfect along with the outdoor fire pit/bbq where you buy logs through an app. I will definately be visiting again. Loved it 😊😊😊😊😊”

“The apartment was comfortable, clean, tidy and convenient for access to the racecourse or for access to York by car. It’s about a half hour walk to the city centre. There's a local bakery and convenience store nearby and we found on street parking for one car. In the first floor apartment, There’s a small kitchen with a full cooker, microwave, kettle, fridge and washer dryer. The dining table only seats four so you may need to also sit on a bed. The beds are comfortable with bedding and towels……
