It was very clean, comfortable & perfect for our needs. Complimentary soaps & shower gel were appreciated, as were the coffee/tea/biscuits which were good quality. The room was tastefully decorated & had a lovely calm feel to it. The bed was very comfortable & breakfast was fresh & delicious with lots of choice. The room was excellent, with a really comfortable bed, and spotless bathroom. The breakfast choices were plenty for everyone. The Full English being my choice and was excellent. I was travelling for work so appreciated the provided parking spaces and fast internet. Stayed here just for the night for work and what a lovely cosy place! The host had left me a breakfast bag & in the room there was plenty of Yorkshire Tea, biscuits and treats. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot too! Adrian and his wife really did think of everything. A very welcoming couple. They kindly let us check in early. Provided some lovely room refreshments such as cookies, biscuits and chocolates. It’s the best nights sleep we’ve had in a long while. The bed was soooo comfortable. Breakfast was 11/10! The quality and quantity was superb. The area is also really quaint. We took a stroll to The Crown for our evening meal, and again excellent service and food. Friendly hosts and excellent breakfast. Highly recommended and would definitely stay again. Good food and friendly service available at The Crown, which is walking distance from The Barn. We stayed in Room 1 at The Barn, which is on the ground floor at the front of the property. A beautiful, air-conditioned (that we didn't use) room, but the windows didn't appear to be easily opened (which is our preference at night). Also, the excellent shower isn't really high enough for guests over about 5'10".
