Step into this spacious cottage in the quiet hamlet of Far Westhouse and discover a fully fitted, well-equipped kitchen, living and dining area flanking the wood burning stove, just what you need after walking back from the Marton Arms for Sunday lunch. The staircase from the kitchen leads to two delightful, good sized bedrooms and a family shower room; the main bedroom offers plenty of storage space and a double bed, whilst the second has a 3' single bed, perfect for a friends walking holiday or small family break in the Yorkshire Dales. Spend your winter evenings around the wood burning stove playing a board game or take a stroll on a balmy summers day to the local pub for a chilled glass of wine or a pint of refreshing local ale. At the front of the property you will find a quaint bench, which is an idyllic spot for a morning coffee or a relaxing homemade meal from the patio dining furniture. Well-placed, Ower Yonder offers guests the chance to visit both Cumbria, home to The Lake District National Park and also Lancashire for a day out at the seaside to Morecambe Bay, you really are spoilt for choice. Ground Floor: Kitchen With an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and Delongi coffee machine. Cloakroom With a wash basin WC and underfloor heating. Small step up leading to Sitting/dining room With an wood burning stove, comfortable seating, television and dining table seating four guests. First Floor: Master bedroom With a 4'6 double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. Bedroom two With a 3' single bed, chest of drawers and velux window with far reaching views. Family shower room With a walk-in shower, wash basin, WC, underfloor heating and heated towel rail. Outside: The enclosed, walled patio area is just a delight and has seating for four guests around a picnic table. There is also an additional garden bench. There is private parking for two cars next to the cottage on the driveway across from the owners house. Additional Information: A small initial supply of logs and kindling are provided to get you started. Two small well-behaved dogs welcome (small additional charge). Travel cot and high chair are available on request at time of booking.
