Top Carnforth Hotel Reviews
The Royal Hotel
8/10 Good
"The room was spotless and well appointed. My only issue was using the outside stairs in the early morning with a dog and bags to carry. Needed to be very careful! No harm done but no real alternative to providing out of hours access for the hotel so I have no solution!"
The Silverdale Hotel
8/10 Good
"A pleasant, convenient stopover on our road trip This was a really nice spot to break up our road trip. The on-site bar was a highlight, offering a great food and drink menu alongside warm, attentive service from the staff. Having a quality breakfast included in the stay was a definite plus and set us up well for the drive ahead. The room itself was slightly dated, but everything was clean, functional, and comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and found it to be great value for a driving stopover."
Pine Lake Resort
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful quiet location. Excellent restaurant. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay."
The Homestead
10/10 Excellent
"My husband and I stayed at The Homestead 10 years ago and finally returned to celebrate my husbands birthday. We were once again delighted by The Homestead, the character, attention to detail make it such an interesting stay, so original. It is appointed so well with such sympathy for the age of the property. It is beyond spotless everything gleams ! You know you will have a lovely nights sleep in the large bed covered in nice white cotton bedding. We actually chose to stay in our room one evening and just chill ...perfect. Maria is a great host, very attentive. We even got a card and chocolates on our breakfast table, what a nice touch. Breakfast had lost of choice and well cooked. Could not fault our stay in anyway !"
The George Washington
10/10 Excellent
"Great place to stop off at between Southern England and when visiting Scotland."
The Copper Kettle
10/10 Excellent
"Set in a 1300s terraced cottage the owners provided their own parking spot for us around the back of property that was a little tricky to find but welcome because, the streets through town are narrow with restricted parking double yellow each side. The atmosphere was nostalgic and a bit quirky.. we stayed one night in a cosy bedroom with shower. Comfortable bed. Included a decent cooked breakfast in the downstairs dinning area on ground floor."
Wheatsheaf
8/10 Good
"Everything was fine really. Just the carpets were very old and stained. Great breakfast and dinner was nice. Beds need a little upgrade."
Longlands Inn and Restaurant
8/10 Good
"Nice place to stay for a weekend break. Bed was very comfy! The inn is also dog friendly and has a couple of walks along the canal on the doorstep"
Pheasant Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Large room, spacious and quiet. Staff couldn't have been more helpful in ever way, (even reserved me a table for tea without asking) and despite tight deadlines breakfast was fantastic.....I will return if in the area again."
