Be sure and take the mailboat tour!
We so enjoyed the six hour narrated trip to Bayley's Island. We ate at the restaurant at the island on the dock. Others went to the restaurant that was located just 5 minute walk - will try this next time. A perfect day chatting with others on the boat, the meal, the weather and history provided. We used a groupon to save 1/2 on tickets.
Go to the Ferry Terminal
The mail route ferry is a lot of fun!
Food was great
Shop around the Pier for parking. The rates vary widely. Some places are $10 a day & another right next door can be $7 an hour. I found that out the hard way.
Explore the lovely green spaces of Popham Beach State Park and also enjoy the boating in Phippsburg. While you're in the area, stroll along the seaside.
