L’Abbazia di Montecassino is a beautiful abbey just a short taxi or bus ride from the town of Cassino. Founded by St. Benedict in 529 AD on the remains of a Roman heathen worship site. Beautiful views of the surrounding towns in Frosinone, Lazio and a ton of history. It was truly a serene experience.

“We booked this property in early March 2023 for 5 days. We were coming from the USA for the first time to visit Italy. When we arrived we messaged the owner to find out what we had to do to check in.
