Everything was covered in a blue hue. @gadinote and I stayed in a small town called Cava Di Terreni to cut costs on our travels (surprise surprise : the beauty of the Amalfi Coast is not for free). To access Positano, Capri and many other beaches catch the bus from Cava to Salerno and take one of the many ferries to your destination! Make sure you know the return times (although I wouldn't complain about getting stranded in this beautiful part of the world)

"The amazing views are just incredible. From one terrace you can see the Sorrentine coastline and from the other side and rooftop terrace, Mount Vesuvius dominates. Every evening we were treated to beautiful sunsets. The five star pool is absolutely gorgeous. I definitely recommend paying the extra to rent privately if you can. "

"- Staff excellent, attentive, and welcoming - Room and hotel very clean, albeit some small inconveniences (i.e. bath plug was not lifting, glazed bathroom door not very private or soundproof and without a functioning lock) - Roof terrace is pleasant with a good atmosphere - Breakfast was delicious and varied - Easy access to main train station/hub, though area around the hotel is dirty, noisy, and often with shady-looking characters - Short walk to historical center of Naples and many decent pizzerias Overall, would recommend for the convenience and quality of the hotel."
