Hyggeligt stille sted, flot bygning. God parkering og ca. 7 min kørsel til Pescheria. Maden var god på restauranten. Der var meget spindelsvæv på værelset. Vi havde et juniorværelse. Poolen var okay, men det virkede ikke til at borde blev tørret af og dåser osv samlet op. Dvs der var mange myrer da der lå juice og sodavand på fliserne, fyldte askebægre ved liggestolene var heller ikke så lækkert.

Hotel room was a good size & comfortable. Staff were multi-lingual (including Italian, English, German, French) and helpful. Company / hotel policy did not allow them to book taxi in advance, only on a ‘want it now’ basis, which was a bit inconvenient. There was a small bar which did good toasted sandwiches - but this was the only food offering (outside of breakfast) as there was no restaurant, despite this being part of the listing on hotels.com. On advice from the barman we used an excellent restaurant just around the corner. Similarly, although there was a laundry bag in the room, and laundry facility was listed on hotels.com, there was no such facility for guests and staff advised using a self-service laundry about 1/2 mile away. There is a public bus stop very close to the hotel which was useful for getting to/from the centre of Verona. Underground, on-site, parking was ok - though spaces were small so with today’s size of cars most were spanning 2 bays which meant going down to the third level to get a space. The parking has a shuttered entry with a keypad to give access but, because contractors’ vans were parked whilst they were working on the side entrance to the hotel, there was no pull-in to enable registration and get the entry code - so we had to park ‘illegally’ whilst we got the entry code. Overall, it wasn’t bad, but we were disappointed at the facilities we’d expected not being available.

Lots of space in the hotel area - beautiful garden, cute swimming pool, nine well-maintained indoor and outdoor tennis courts, and plenty of parking lots. It’s just a 10 minutes walk to the lakeside, where you can find some quiet restaurants for good food and stunning sunset views. Bikes can be rented from the hotel for a relaxing ride along the lakeshore. Great place to chill out despite small shower stalls and less than meticulous room cleaning. Tennis coaching fee must be paid in cash. Not informed of this in advance, I used the ATM machine outside the hotel and was charged about 5 euros!
