She responded that it hasn't been open since July in a nasty tone like I was supposed to know that. I then asked her if she had any recommendations of where to eat and she simply said no. Before getting in the elevator I asked her if there was water in the room which the answer was also no. At the moment I decided to check online and there was a bar a block away that gave me some water. When I return back to my hotel room I noticed my TV didn't work, it had no channels and the remote had limited functionality. So I went back to the front desk, the same agent dressed in a hoodie ready to leave expressed that she didn't know how to fix a tv, she then suggested I went up to my room to see if it was magically working now; it wasn't. I went back down and she gave me keys to a new room. While the new room did have a working tv, it had an horrible smell, dusty coffee machine and a phone with no buttons. I tried dialing out and it definitely didn't work which is concerning if you don't have your own phone. To conclude this hotel should not charge more than $50 per night, they have zero amenities, unprofessional staff and the advertisement is very misleading." The room smelled like body odor - a lingering scent that remained throughout the visit. There was no body wash or conditioner in the bottles in the shower. You had to use your hip to get the lock on the door to engage and the heating system was difficult to control. I think our room was one of the renovated rooms. The bathroom was clean, but the smell of the room as well as the weed smoked in the adjacent / adjoining room was dreadful. Perhaps just a moment in time for this well located hotel."
