“The is an exceptionally beautiful property. If you love history and have a love for historic properties this is your place. Beautiful period decorated rooms. Exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. The Inn has a cozy, relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely try to get back up that way again. Thank you for your hospitality and an excellent stay.”

“Room was small. Blanket and comforter too heavy for the season. Queen bed felt undersized. Slate floor as you entered room was broken and cracked. Birch veneer on the TV cabinet/closet was peeling and cracked. Check in staff was great. ”

“Could not connect to internet. Partial label for password visible on desk but remainder rubbed off. No response from non-existent desk when I tried to get a password. Virtual desk only. No humans at desk on premises. Would not use shower because tub with no safety mat, no hold bar. Slip and fall danger too great. ”

“Friendly family run motel, very clean and quiet. Nice one night stopover for a family visit.”

“Room was a touch warm on the 2nd floor, there is no AC from what I’m told, we visited in April, so luckily the outside temps were moderate at best. I would be unbearable in the summer without AC. Room was extremely clean and owners were very accomadating. Breakfast was fantastic, I’d stay again, just not in the summer”

“We had a wonderful time. Everything was clean and comfortable. Whatever problem we thought we had was solved with a video. Found some good restaurants to eat at in the area. Would have liked more coat/ towel hooks and a sink in the bathroom. This is not a deal breaker. Just would have made things easier. Next time we will have the hot tub heated prior to our arrival.”

“We were there for our nephew's college graduation and when we checked in, we got a little Graduation stuffed bear and a little gift bag with some snacks and waters in it. Was very thoughtful! The staff were very pleasant and respectful. Breakfast was good and had good on the go options as well since we were in a hurry both mornings we were there. Room was quiet and very clean, bed was comfy. If I had to point out one thing, it was that our heater was a little loud. Sounded like it might be going……
