“Loved the house, location and quaint notes written throughout the house. Laminated information pages are awesome. Had the perfect amount of attention to detail and amenities. Location was unbelievably close to our destinations. Thank you so much for opening up your home to us. ”

“This stay was great! It was well amended with everything one might need! The bed was very good, and there was plenty of room. It was a bit pricey, but southernmost Illinois is beautiful!”

“Property was misrepresented. Was supposed to be 2 bedroom 2 bath handicapped accessible with ramp. They assigned us a one room 2 bed no ramp not handicapped accessible. We called after arrival then the host did not respond to 2 phone calls and a text message. When they finally got back to us they said they were sorry they assigned the wrong cabin to us. I asked for full refund called VRBO and asked for help with this. Now Verbo wants us to fight for our refund instead of just taking care of it.”

“Loved it here! Very clean, had everything we needed. It was close to many trails and conveniences, which made any last minute things really easy to take care of! ”

“Easy to find. Nestled into a little town history. Like meat? Buy some from the store next door, its local!If staying in winter, bring slippers. The concrete floors are chilly. Easy set up, full kitchen, clean. The home fragrance is overpowering for my preference, you may love it. Now all my belongings smell like a laundry mat, how fitting.Ideal spot to explore the area and hike.Fish on the river or watch the ships go by.”
