Wish we had another day to do more exploring. The cabin is secluded, so stock up on groceries and charcoal for the grill before you arrive. "It is an older property, so it looks a bit dated/worn on the outside. But, the rooms have been remodeled with tile and vinyl floors (no nasty carpet, yay!) and the room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Fridge, microwave, and flat screen TV (with DirectTV) all appeared fairly new and all were in good working order. Free breakfast is what used to be called "continental" and included coffee, tea, juice (apple & orange), variety of cereals, bagels & toast, apples, oranges, granola bars, yogurt, applesauce. Wifi available but somewhat spotty, which was noted by the staff at check-in. Did not cause a problem for me, but I was there for leisure not business. Very close to Shawnee National Forest. Great value for the price, and I would definitely stay here again if visiting the area!"
