We liked how it was away from the noise of West Bay, but still on the beach and a few minute walk to small stores and restaurants. Breakfast was good and fresh. Great cocktails at the bar and yummy food at the restaurant. The pool is very shallow - suitable for young children. This is a laid back place with everything you need- not a fancy 5 star resort. But it is clean, comfortable, safe and on the sea. Great home base for exploring Roatan. The hotel is located right in the main tourist area, close to everything and surrounded by other hotels, which is very convenient. The beach is absolutely beautiful, and we were lucky as there was almost no seaweed during our stay. Only one day, right before we left, a lot of sargassum washed in. We were barefoot most of the time since there’s sand everywhere, which adds to the relaxed, laid-back vibe. The dive center is excellent — very friendly and they take great care of you. We had an amazing diving experience with them. Breakfast is okay, nothing special. The beach restaurant is very good, although a bit pricey — but that’s expected in a very touristy area. We truly enjoyed the experience and would definitely come back.
