Las Verandas was a great choice. The room was beautiful and spacious with a wonderful balcony and the food was delicious! The grounds are very well maintained and the ground around the pools never gets hot. The concierge was very helpful, booking us a snorkeling trip and providing other helpful information. The one downfall (no fault of Las Verandas) was the no-see-ums, so bring bug spray and use it!

An exceptional family stay in Roatán! My family and I had a wonderful stay at Laru Beya Palmetto Bay. The house was beautiful, very spacious, and spotless. Everyone had room to feel comfortable, and we loved coming back to relax together after our adventures around the island. We went scuba diving and snorkeling several times during our trip and spent time exploring Roatán and enjoying its incredible natural beauty. Having such a lovely home to return to made the experience even better. The hospitality and communication were excellent. We felt well taken care of, and the helpful information and recommendations from our hosts were much appreciated. Their attention made us feel welcome throughout our stay. We left with wonderful family memories and would happily stay here again. If you’re looking for a beautiful, comfortable home for a family vacation in Roatán, we highly recommend Laru Beya Palmetto Bay. Thank you for helping make our trip so special!

Same as my review from last year in July, had to return because it was so memorable! We usually choose another Caribbean island yearly for my birthday, I think we will just make this our annual July trip, and return to the Kimpton!! Just a beautiful resort, I recommend to everyone!!
