Worn Out Buildings - Don't Trust the Front Desk

Pros: The housekeeping staff is very kind. Location good - close to shopping and family.
Cons: Front desk staff needs customer service training. Villas need to be refurbished. Even the housekeeping staff agrees the place is run down.
6 hour check-in ordeal. Two hours spent being told "20 more minutes". 3 other similar rooms were given out while I was waiting. Finally complained and was offered a villa. Great idea in theory. Villa 6 was beautiful and I accepted, then was told that the room was out of service. Was put into Villa 14, with broken aircon and water. Took two hours before hotel decided to move me to Villa 12 ("Is the Villa OK or will you require us to move you again"), which had broken lights, a broken door lock and only one working shower for 6 persons. Place was run down and filthy, with stains on the floor and walls, leftover food in the fridge and no rice cooker delivered as promised. The housekeeping staff tried hard to fix what they could and were very kind, bringing extra items as needed. After room inspection at checkout, was told the room was OK, but I had to ask for the refund of my 4K php deposit.

Old and the staff did their best

At check in they did not have our reservation ready even though I called ahead to confirm our reservation, we then had to wait an additional 30 minutes for our room to be ready. The room was adequate but very old and not very clean, the furniture was old and stained. Our room came with a kitchenette but in order to use the stove we had to pay an additional 200 pesos per day for the gas, there were no utensils to cook or eat with. I made an assumption these were included in the room I reserved as it was advertised, shame on me for making this assumption! Our reservation also included a breakfast buffet which was ok, each day they did not have our info for the buffet and had to verify our numbers which were always incorrect after going back and forth it was worked out this happened each day of our stay. The food is what you would expect from a buffet, it was average there was not enough plates or utensils constantly had to ask the staff for them, the staff was doing their best. Throughout our stay the service was mediocre at best!! from the check in, buffet, bar to check out, although the staff was friendly and tried very hard it's obvious they lacked coordination and management oversight. The hotel for the price is old, not well maintained or that clean. I have stayed in places with dirt floors and cogongrass roofs that were better maintained and cleaner. The one bright spot was maintenance engineers our aircon went out, they had it fixed and working within an hour

Room service takes forever to come. Food is cold and tasteless. Breakfast is ok. Yr better off staying elsewhere for the same price.

Don't waste your time

I stayed here 3 times don't ask me why. I rented a penthouse villa, the lady at front desk didn't even tell me where this was, the guard had to show me. The building wasn't marked. I don't think villa has been rented much everything is old, aircon, water fausets, tv's, furniture. Light bulbs not working. Only thing I liked was is big

horrible location located in slum

1st room smelled so bad almost threw up. Opened window only to see hotel built in middle of garbage dump. Literally burning garbage outside. Room had broken tattered pull out couch. Metal bar frame completely exposed. Next room not much better. Didn't smell as bad. Still located in dump. Staff very rude and almost missed flight because they held up cab till the checked out my room for towel count. No mini bar no charges. Very noisy!!

Good business hotel

Efficient and close to airport. I will stay there again. Like the 50's bar. Had internet problems on last day (same as last year about this time). Lobby and breakfast area are not air conditioned. Common in Philippines, but not good for me.

Outdated needs renovation.

The hotel is old and needs renovation. The lobby furnitures need to be steamed clean, looks horrible and outdated.

Awesome staff, very welcoming and accommodating. Cab rides to most locations were short. Would definitely stay again!
