“After the first half of 2025 being filled with loss of loved ones and a time of transition, we three 60 cousins and an 83 y/o aunt (mother of one cousin) decided that spending a few days in a unique, lakefront dome home sounded heavenly. And heavenly it was. We spent the days exploring the waterfalls, parks, shopping and restaurants in the whole northeast region of Alabama. We returned nightly to enjoy the peace and quiet of the deck and hot tub. It was exactly what we needed to refresh and……

“On our last 2 stays at this Avid, the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. I think it was a malfunction of the system and not an actual smoke detection. We were not able to get a good night’s rest. We won’t stay at this hotel again.”

“Very clean, thought we got a free breakfast but you don't, they had a bistro that sold food, kinda pricey and really nothing for preteens to eat, but we got the fancy Pizza and wings, which tasted good just kinda costly. Pool was small but clean, the were strict about kids swimming with no adult but it was 5 ft deep and the kids were 10 and 12, and grew up with a pool so they were kinda again, strict,.but other then that help was friendly.”
