Each room is unique and fun. We stayed in the Victorian room. I thoroughly enjoyed soaking in the tub, warming up by the fire and access to our own balcony. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was tasty. The hosts are lovely and really spend time getting to know the guests or leaving you alone, whichever you prefer. The room was very clean. There is a lot of knick knacks and that can feel a little overwhelming, but mostly just fun to look at. There is a guest kitchen which was wonderful for our staying in night when we just wanted to heat up frozen pizzas and relax. I would 100% stay here next time I am in this area. Looks like an old country inn in England. I’m here at Christmas time and it is so wonderfully decorated. I feel like I’m staying in a Christmas village under a decorated tree! The hosts are warm and charming and breakfast was perfect. The dining area is conducive to conversations and making new friends. The moment I walked in the door last night, I went ahead and book the room for another day. It is so relaxing. I spent the evening in the library reading a book. The rooms were comfortable, and the house was impeccably decorated for xmas. Its right next to the university, so i'd imagine it'd be perfect for parents of students. Comfortable room and food is available locally until very late, even on a weeknight.
