“Pros: good location, private parking, full kitchen, laundry machine, water hose to wash off everything Cons: needs updating, a bigger tv- one tv in living room that’s a 30 inch Overall, we enjoyed our stay. It was a great location, had a full kitchen to make our meals. The bed was comfy. I just found it to be a bit pricy for how outdated the apartment was. I did message the host before arriving, but never heard back. Thankfully we figured it out!”

“wouldnt stay again. not a good hotel for kids. no tv in the room. also paper thin walls kept us awake. staff is great but the building is falling apart. Our room was so slanted my baby could barely keep her balance.”

“Lovely view and the pool and property were well maintained and we enjoyed it. The condo inside was not cleaned. Crumbs on rug, hair on sheets, smudging on glass stove and microwave. Also mess in fridge hadn’t been cleaned. I washed the linens myself so we could sleep knowing they were clean. I’m glad I brought my own pillow because those smelled!”

“It's an old hotel, built in 1859-60, and very well-maintained. It has a charming ambience, and the staff are very polite and helpful. It's a short walk from everything in town. Very comfortable and accommodating. Also contains an excellent restaurant. It will be my first choice when I return to Cedar Key.”

“Very pleasant staff. Everyone was cheerful and made you feel welcomed. We made reservations for dinner in the bar area which was suggested by the staff and it turned out to be very nice.A great place for couples, not so much for families with young children. If you want a romantic get away , this is the place to go.”

“The hotel was historic and attractive. The weather didn't cooperate very well, but we did enjoy sitting on the porch when the sun peaked out. Our room was attractive and the bed was comfortable but if you have any mobility issues, be aware that you have to use a step stool to get in and out of bed. That wasn't a problem for us, but would have been for some relatives we know. Being from out of state, we didn't realize how much hurricane damage Cedar Key had endured over the last couple of years.……

“Big comfy bed and an amazing view off the balcony. My husband loved the reclining couch. Well stocked kitchen. Enjoyed the pool with the sunshade each day.”
