Upon arrival, you\`ll be greeted by the warm and inviting atmosphere of this condo. The walls are painted in a soothing color scheme that complements the beachy vibe of the area. The condo is also tastefully decorated with coastal accents that add to the overall charm of the space. The king bed in the studio is outfitted with high-quality linens that will provide a comfortable and restful night\`s sleep. The pull out couch in the living room area provides sleeping for an additional two people. There\`s also a small seating area where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful view of the Gulf of Mexico. One of the highlights of this vacation condo is its location. Cedar Key is a small island town that\`s situated on the Gulf of Mexico, and this condo is located right in the heart of it. You\`ll be just steps away from the town\`s charming shops, restaurants, and attractions. If you\`re looking to spend some time in nature, Cedar Key is an ideal destination. The town is surrounded by water, and there are plenty of opportunities to explore the local waterways. You can take a guided kayak tour or rent a boat and explore on your own. Cedar Key is surrounded by shallow waters and this can make boating/fishing during low and changing tides difficult or impossible depending on where you are and where you want to go. You can search NOAA chart 11408 online to check the water depth and search NOAA tide predictions at Cedar Key FL for tide information. PLEASE NOTE: There is no pool at this property. The pool shown in the aerial photo belongs to a neighboring complex. The building does not currently have a working elevator, and the ground floor is unoccupied while the HOA determines how to move forward with repairs following recent hurricane damage. \-Please be respectful of the neighbors and the area you are staying \-Do not trespass on other people\`s property, this includes docks and driveways \-Please be careful where you park, don\`t block people in, use neighbors property, park on the sidewalk or impede traffic \-Parties and/or events are not allowed \-No smoking inside or within 10 feet of doors or windows $250 fine if the property smells of smoke \-Unauthorized pets will result in a $250 fine for each animal \-$150/person/day fee for over occupancy limit \-Please don’t eat or drink anything besides water in the bedroom \-Quiet hours 10 pm to 7 am per local Noise Ordinance \-Please respect the check-in and check-out times. $500 for each 4 hours, or portion unauthorized thereof, of early check-in and late checkout. \-Guests are responsible for any damage they cause. Not the case at all since the unfortunate hurricane last year did major damage to the resort. Listings should be modified to let guests know what they will encounter. The bay between the buildings is still full of hurricane and construction debris. Not expecting the first floor of all buildings to be completely gone. Also did know pool was black and fenced off. My friend and I have been thru a lot of health issues ourselves and with our loved ones and needed a relaxing break. We got it for the most part but thru no fault of the management company of the condo, there were, what sounded like a herd or cattle, in the condo above us tromping around late into the night and up early in the morning. The condo itself was very nice and comfortable, loving the views from the balcony, the pool, the beach close by and short walk to shopping, pier and restaurants. Feels very much like a mini Key West island vibe. It was nice with no agenda for the weekend and I will be back. My partner has a very serious Cancer treatment ongoing. We both needed the get away to not worry about the situation. Totally found that seclusion and calm of Cedar Key. Pros- cleanliness, view, location and communication with management. Con- could hear the person walking around from the condo above us. Cedar Key is a cute little village. The whole first level was nothing but studs & we felt unsafe staying there. Would recommend VRBO eliminate this property from their options. Working with McCormick Agency was great! We love it because it is close enough to walk to dinner and shopping. The bathroom is outdated but clean and functional. Due to a hurricane 5 months prior, there was debris outside the condo. The property itself had a great view, and was so cozy on the inside. My husband and I slept great, and were so close to Cedar Key park and the downtown area. The property manager also stayed in contact with us throughout our entire stay, and even gave recommendations on places to stay.
