We were offput initially because the elevator shown in the pictures of the property was inoperable. For us, there was great difficulty accessing the 3rd story apartment by stairs, since my wife is mobility impaired and I am 70 years old. We worked past this issue and the local landlords worked hard to make the situation right. We spent most of our time on the balcony watching wildlife, which was extraordinary. There were dolphins, shore birds, wading birds, racoons, and free-tail bats in the evening. This was completely unexpected. Cedar Key has not recovered from last year's storms, so there are many closures. Bring your own food and drink from the mainland, since restaurant options are very limited. We enjoyed having the playground and beach only a few hundred feet away from the unit. It was a nice surprise and sweet touch to walk in to a little wedding anniversary wish they left for us. The condo is comfortable, updated, and clean. The furniture and bed is comfortable too. The views of the gulf are beautiful and we saw dolphins swimming and playing everyday. Parking is right in front of the building which is convenient and there is an elevator if you don’t want to walk up three flights of stairs. It’s a huge plus that you can walk to the nearby restaurants and shops and not have to worry about finding parking. The company has done a good job renovating after the horrible hurricane sometime ago and you will feel comfortable and happy with this pretty condo!! We had a perfect stop on the way home from visiting our kids and grandson in St. Pete.
