"I am always a litte skeptical to rent a place that doesn't have several reviews to read. I have to say this place exceeded our expectations in every way. You can tell it is newly remodeled. It has plenty of indoor and outdoor space overlooking the wide canal. Our family of seven plus their friends that came by to hang out in the pool and kayak had lots of room. We had everything we needed with all the little extras that were provided. I would highly recommend this place. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home and for allowing dogs. My mom was able to join us with her dog and greatly appreciated it."
Waterfront stilt cottage on the open Gulf of Mexico will make you feel like you're on a houseboat!
10/10 Excellent
"Great place to sit and enjoy the waterfront view (birds, boats and dolphins), with an exceptional angle for seeing summer sunrises. Check-in was easy, and the kitchen well stocked with essential cooking tools. Lots of space inside to lounge and read when not enjoying the sights from the deck. We would come back for sure."
"We had a long weekend stay with family. The house was perfect. It was beautifully decorated. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything needed to cook elaborate meals. There were plenty of games and activities to do, including pool table, connect four, jenga and even hoola hoops. The backyard was amazing and great for gathering. Plenty of space to sit around a fire or hot tub - though it was too hot for that. Would love to come back in cooler weather to enjoy the backyard. The only negative thing was there were lots of flies in the backyard which was annoying but candles or a fire may keep them away. Was great for dogs. Had nice fenced in yard. Water and activities were a short 10-15 minute ride away. Host was great and quick to communicate. Would definately consider staying again. "

"Clean! Good location, close to downtown. Fully stocked with supplies and cooking items. We rented golf carts and had a 5 min drive to downtown to eat/shop. "
"We unfortunately had a house fire and we needed a place to stay. They have been so helpful. They are making our stay perfect and we appreciate them. They are affordable, they accepted our doggies. The kids get to escape and play in the pool. "
"Saw this on Motel Rescue and decided to make a weekend of the springs and antique shopping with my husband and daughter. It was a wonderful stay! I wish we could’ve had a balcony with a better view but we will definitely be back!"
"One of the best homes we have rented!!! From the cleanliness to the items provided in the home to decor. Everything was absolutely amazing!! Definitely will be back. "

Lake Rouseau Waterfront, Wifi, great sunsets, fireplace & fire-pit, pet friendly

"The location was excellent, the lake serene and relaxing. The cottage pictures were probably taken a while ago, but still reflect a comfortable place to get away from busy schedules and demands of city life. We tried fishing from the dock, unsuccessfully. Didn’t use the kayaks and canoe available because there isn’t a ramp or launching pad, though there is the one a mile away, if you can strap the kayak to your car’s roof. "
"Great place in a very convenient location. Easy to walk to everything! Host did a great job of communicating and had the place ready for our arrival. "
"My wife and I were a little apprehensive when we booked a cozy cabin near Fanning Springs for a mini-vacation instead of our usual beach getaway. But we were pleasantly surprised.“Cozy” doesn’t begin to describe it—quiet, peaceful, and full of natural magic. Time seemed to pause there. While sitting on the porch, a brave kitty approached us, and soon a whole tribe of cats had adopted us, offering nonstop purring therapy. The next day we launched the canoe and paddled through stunning Bell Springs toward the Suwannee River. Once on the river, massive armored fish—some as long as our canoe—leapt from the water and crashed back down, explaining the “Danger, Jumping Sturgeon” signs along the shore. It felt like a real adventure. We paddled to Suwannee Belle Landing, where we found free canoe parking and the best coconut shrimp I’ve ever had. Recharged, we made our way back to our cabin retreat.Another highlight was the nearby Lighthouse Restaurant, where time slowed again thanks to a full salad bar and a mouthwatering combo of steak and snow crab legs. When we finally left, the cat tribe was clearly disappointed—and so were we. But we returned feeling completely refreshed. A magical escape we’re still talking about weeks later."
"We stayed for 3 nights. Condo perfectly located to walk into town for shopping and dinning. We'd stay again. The condo was clean, comfotable, and had great views of the Gulf. Everything we needed for basic nessities was provided."
The Egret Condo: B202 is a vacation rental condo with a waterfront bayside view, a pool & more.

"Spent one night in Cedar Key as a stop over as we headed down to Florida. Condo was so cute, furnished very nice and had a lovely view. The outdoor lanai is so relaxing for sitting on the deck having coffee or drinks. Check in was so easy and close to the downtown area. The downtown waterfront area of Cedar Key is still recovering from hurricane in 2024 but it's coming back. I would definitely recommend the Egret condo B202 in Cedar key as a place to visit. "
