Romantic Winter Escape with hot tub and dock, 3 miles to the beach

Paradise awaits! Enjoy the gorgeous sunrise over the Emerald Isle bridge, and the sunsets over the islands. Watch the dolphins play, fish, enjoy the refreshing saltwater, play on the swim-mat, kayak to the islands, endless adventure. In the evenings relax in the hot tub on the back porch. 3 miles to the beach. This is a peaceful and quiet home, the most noise you will hear are the boats going by. The water is steps away from the screened in front porch. Bring your boat and tie it to the dock.

Our home is at the end of the Road, Very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. Most of our neighbors are older so we do ask that noise be kept down after 9pm.

Not much traffic on Waterway drive, there is plenty of parking for 3 cars. We do ask that there not be more than 3 cars at the home. Waterway Drive is a private and small road.

Wonderful visit! We loved the doc and the nice neighborhood!

Fishing Trip Weekend

This was the 2nd time that I stayed at this property, first time where I was the renter. The property owners are super nice and we're great to work with. The location was perfect for us and our objective. They have a dock on the water and we fished of it as well. Looking forward to our next visit

Cedar Point stay

We really enjoyed our visit and will be back. Adorable home with great water views and access. The host was amazing and very responsive and cooperative. Absolutely no complaints whatsoever and would recommend this place to our friends. Can’t wait to return!!

INCREDIBLE

We just needed a little cozy place by the water and we got it. The location is perfect, it's quiet and safe. Incredible sunrises and sunsets! George is a great and friendly neighbor. We heard and saw Dolphins nearly every day. Used the Kayaks so much and found several shark teeth on shark tooth island. Emerald Isle is just 10 min away and breathtaking! The point has SO MANY shells! Host's were friendly and responsive. If we could stay forever we would!

Great spot!

The house was clean and had plenty of space for us and the dog crate. The neighborhood is wonderful and the neighbor is super friendly and helpful. I wish we had stayed more than a couple days! We really enjoyed sitting on the dock and relaxing. Apparently its a perfect spot for fishingg, because there were lots of people fishing from the docks on the road.

Beautiful and Relaxing

This property was very welcoming! There was a stocked coffee bar, a nice tray of snacks. Riding toys for the kiddos, a dock, fishing, swim pad, kayaks, games for rainy days, toys. All you needed were clothes and swimsuits.

Thanksgiving family get togethet

Had all the essentials for a great Thanksgiving get together. Not a better place to watch the Swansboro Christmas boat flotilla!! We watched from the spacious screened porch and the property’s private dock. Staying at this cottage for Thanksgiving could become a family tradition!

Incredible weekend getaway!

We reached out to the owner about our interest in the house for my brother in-laws birthday and they were nothing but kind! When we arrived they had birthday balloons, sparkling grape juice, and flowers for Wayne. This made everything more special for Wayne and all of us. The hot tub was the perfect way to relax after our drive and waking up to the beautiful sunrise over the water was just what we needed! Plus we got to see dolphins playing right from the dock! All in all this was an incredible experience and we will definitely be back! Thank you Jon and Misty for extending your home to our family!

Great location!! Absolutely beautiful views. Hone was well stocked with everything you could think of. Swimming and fishing on site was wonderful, boat dock available. People were friendly and responded quickly to the few issues we had. The only negative thing was the screen doors on the house and screened in porch did not latch. Overall we enjoyed our stay and plan to stay here again.

The place was great! Well decorated and comfortable. I lost my keys at checkout time. I messaged the owner's and they told me not to worry about the checkout time. They were responsive and as helpful as they could be! I highly recommend this spot!

We stayed here for a weekend family fishing trip. We enjoyed our stay. Booking was easy. The beds were comfortable, it was very well kept and clean. This place was decorated beautifully. I loved that it had everything we could want or need. It exceeded my expectations. George was wonderful to talk to. The area seems like your home, it is safe, everyone is friendly. The best was spending time with our family, and I loved the porch, and watching the boats come through. I was able to relax. Do yourself the favor and book it. It is a 10 out of 10. Thank you for such a great weekend and allowing us to stay here.

From the start while unloading the car, and we happened to look out to the water and we see two dolphins swimming by. Of corse my phone was not available 😂 it was my GPS ! The rest of the time was great the house was clean big enough for two in this case, but plenty of room for multiple people👍 ohh, no let's not forget the fishing 🎣 pier prívate access from porch. It was very nice to spend my 70th birthday at the Peaceful Home with the love of my life since 16 yrs old, yes high school sweethearts 🎣❤️

Perfect Home Base

We enjoyed our little getaway in this quaint and perfectly stocked home base. We used the hot tub several times a day, the beds are large and comfortable memory foam with excellent pillows, and plenty of space to relax and unwind on the spacious screened in porch. A few things to consider for neurodivergent or sensory sensitive folks; there were some ambient noises that are out of the owners control - the flagpole next door made a clinking noise during our windy spring trip, lots of boat traffic apparently which everyone ignores the no wake signs, and the diesel engine and lights coming from a sand barge parked in front of the island across from the house was constant day/night throughout our stay. Most people would find these to be ambient noise and would likely not affect your stay! Aside from that, we found the neighborhood to be an excellently positioned home base; the 7mph speed bump private drive and neighborhood in general were free of any “people noise” although it was the off-season. The gorgeous sunrises and sunsets are clearly visible from the private dock! We enjoyed our quick commute to Swansboro for some excellent dinners and the cottage was perfect day trip distance for traveling around Emerald Isle, Atlantic beach, Morehead City and Beaufort for shopping and eating. Jonathan made himself available for questions and was very attentive and accessible. I think families of all ages would find comfort and relaxation here and the cottage is overall a great value.

Perfect 'on-the-water' location

Everything about this house is lovely and charming. From the huge screened in porch, perfect for late night conversations, to the private deck, which we spent all morning watching the sun rise and shine on the water. Even the neighbor made a point to chat with us when he saw us outside, just to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. I can confidently say that this is the most comfortable I've ever felt staying in a rental property. The owners do such a good job at making you feel like they're letting you enjoy their home for a relaxing getaway and not that they're just renting you a property they might own. Snacks were left for us to grab along with a coffee bar, completely with a frother! Check out was an absolute breeze, they dont ask they you clean top to bottom before leaving, just that you start the dishwasher. I texted the owner a question about some lights and received an answer almost immediately, which almost never happens. Literally, the only downside is that there weren't as many beds as listed (kings in 2 bedrooms and a twin/daybed in the laundry room), but the couch pulls out into a bed and is also comfortable enough to just sleep on as a couch. However, I wouldn't be surprised if there were another twin bed or two hiding in a closet or something, as the entire property feels a little too good to be true. I've definitely rambled, but this is one property that deserves all the good reviews it can get. Thank you for letting us stay in your home!! We loved it!

Long Weekend trip

The home was excellent. Watching dolphins from the dock during sunset on our last night there was a good send off.
