The house was nice and had almost everything you’d need but had a strong smoke odor which took a few days to dissipate. The neighborhood is diverse and like an inner city residence. Neighbors were nice. We had to cut our trip short because of the devastating storm that swept through Iowa and hit Cedar Rapids particularly hard. A tree fell across the front yard and street and hit a corner of the house. This house has beautiful hardwood floors in the living, dining and bedrooms. Clean kitchen and appliances with plenty of staples and cleaning products. We enjoyed grinding the coffee beans for a rich cup of coffee, even cinnamon found in the cabinet. Adequate bedding and towels were provided. Very timely and responsive communication from the owner. Always had a parking spot directly in front of the house. Lots of room to spread out for a family of 4\. It was fully equipped with everything I needed and Alex was extremely helpful whenever I needed him.
