“The host was responsive; the check-in was seamless; the property is in a safe neighbourhood, close to Port Stanley's downtown and beaches; everything is on one floor, so it is accessible; the house was spotless; all amenities, as advertised. “Property was clean and as advertised in a residential neighborhood near shopping, 401 and several useful amenities/restaurants. During our stay (Sept 2025) there was significant construction in the area that made getting to some places a challenge - expect this will be done soon. Pool was as advertised and heated well enough to be very comfortable in early Sept. The cabana beside the pool was well furnished and easily allowed those in and out of the pool to converse easily. “The apartment is bright and cheerful with the delightful sounds of the children in the playground at recess. If you like a very soft mattress, this is the place for you. The owner was very helpful and responsive. We enjoyed the location and walked where we needed to be. Storm-Stayed brewery is a short walk away and is a locally-owned brewery. Enjoyed, also, the Banting House Museum where Banting realized that insulin was the key to diabetes treatment.”

“Nicely decorated. Needs more kitchen products/supplies. Had to mash potatoes with a fork and boil a bag of potatoes in 4 shifts in a small soup pot. Was not set up well to make a meal for the amount of people the property can accommodate besides I was making my university kid some meals to freeze. Needs some larger pots and casserole dishes potatoe masher, tupperware. That’s the only thing otherwise was great! ”

“The "Otylja Suite" was clean and very nice once inside the actual apartment. The laneway to the back is very tight, but a large suv can fit. The hot tub was not available, as it was full of debris from the renovations, which was very disappointing but not a deal breaker. There was a very beautiful array of potted plants out back that was a pleasant surprise. The internet/ tv did not function and the instructions were not easy to follow. I was not overly concerned and didn't feel it was worth……
