Very cool historic hotel. We had a great time hanging out in the bar downstairs and then only had to walk up to our room. The bathroom looked updated and was extremely clean. The king size bed was super comfortable.

The hotel is very charming and clean. Lowell is a cute tiny and the locals are very nice. Service was great at hotel and nearby restaurant. Only downside of the hotel room was no thermostat to control individual room temp so it was a little chilly but not unbearable.

Staff was wonderful, the street view room was excellent, and parking was a breeze this time of year in October. It worked out perfectly. Wish they had a continental breakfast, but Peppermill grill is close by.

This place is situated in between many farms and corn fields, at a truck stop, so the smell was very strong when it came in on the wind. There were times it didn't smell, too, so it's weather-based. The inside lobby was clean and well kept. The beds are firm but comfortable, the rooms are decent, & the door...
