Perfect hotel in Cernobbio

The staff was so friendly. The breakfasts were delicious! Its a short walk in to the town of Cernobbio to catch the ferry. Also its a short walk outside of town to stroll through the Secret Garden! We loved this hotel!

What a Gem!! Pristine & comfortable!! We absolutely LOVED staying at this beautiful little hotel in this quaint town right on Lake Como. Breakfast daily on the front stone terrace… dinner on the rear patio fantastic! The owners & staff were very friendly & accommodating to our needs. Highly recommend

Good location and an extraordinary restaurant

A nice little village out of the ordinary, fascinating architecture on the houses, it feels like you are part of a film shoot. Lots of wine shops and the wind fields right next door. We will definitely be back.

My wife and I liked everything about the property. The staff was nice, the property was quiet and the location was great walking distance to the Cernnobio centre. We were so busy doing activities outside the property that we did not get to enjoy the gardens at the property. However, they looked awesome.

The family that runs the property is so lovely and the area around it is beautiful. The restaurant is delicious and and it’s an easy walk to the ferry. It is definitely not modern but has a rustic, old school feel. If you are looking for modern, this isn’t it- but it is a charming place.

We had a great experience at the Hotel Trezo Crotto, enjoying its old world charm and an authentic European environment. You may find the rooms smaller than you are used to if you are Canadian, but that is what you find in Italy. The staff was friendly and accommodating, including the sweet old Labrador Retriever on site! We were always looking for her. The restaurant on site was also fantastic. The food was very good on all the items, and we ate there on 2 evening occasions. It is also a short walk to the Piers, shops and the bus stop. We highly recommend this hotel.

Bathroom a little inconvenient with no countertop and a small mirror with limited lighting. Room has no mirror so you can’t see what you wear. Room has thin curtains, very bright for sleeping.

albergo ristorante della vecchia tradizione del lago. perfetto per partecipare agli eventi a villa Erba vista la vicinanza. E' sedel del Lions. sale interne che riportano alle atmosfere di un tempo. camere spaziose e pulite. non e' una struttura di lusso, vero tre stelle. ottimo ristorante di carne e pesce con una caratteristica, porzioni abbondantissime. quindi se non siete come i turisti stranieri che lo frequantano principalmente, andate piano con le ordinazioni. all'inizio della strada per Rovenna non risente del traffico. Ha parcheggio e ampi spazi esterni

Todo parecía estar bien cuando nos hospedamos; la atención estuvo bien, la habitación adecuada. Sin embargo, todo inició cuando se acabó el papel y los tuvimos que pedir porque no dejaron repuesto. También nos pareció que el check out es demasiado temprano a las 10:30 horas. Lo peor ocurrió cuando perdimos un estuche de lentes y una pulsera. El estuche se quedó en la mesa de la terraza y no nos informaron nada, ni lo pusieron en algún lugar donde pudiéramos verlo, fue hasta que dejamos las maletas para resguardo que lo vimos y ya lo tenían ocupado con otros lentes. Cuando hablamos con el dueño sobre la situación fue descortés y no reconoció la falta. En lo que a la pulsera se refiere, estaba en la habitación porque se nos olvidó. Al regresar la buscamos por todos lados y no estaba. Avisamos al personal y dijeron que no la encontraron. Después de lo ocurrido con el estuche de lentes, decidimos no dejar en resguardo el equipaje porque habíamos perdido la confianza. Cuando estábamos saliendo del hotel, se acercó una chica y nos regresó la pulsera.

Hotelkamer schoon maar het gehele gebouw is erg outdated qau inrchting. We hebben bij het hotel gegeten waar we de prijs voor een sterrenrestaurant hebben betaald terwijl de kwaliteit erg onder de maat was. Menu kaart was alleen online in te zijn bij het hotel maar de link er naar toe werkte niet, snap nu waarom.

This was our second stay at this hotel. It is nicely located, close enough to Como but away from the traffic and noise. Walking distance to the lake and few restaurants around the area. The staff is very nice and helpful. Breakfast could use a couple of hot items. My biggest complaint is the smoke smell. It’s gotten worse since the last time we stayed there.

We stayed here for 4 nights to visit Lake Como did not meet expectations on cost for condition of hotel, rooms.etc. We ordered on arrival a coke and small beer which was €10 ... on reading other reviews of steaks and specials items being charged at around €95 euro each we decided not to dine in the restaurant during our visit as other tourists said they felt they were taken advantage of on cost for quality of food. Disappointing overall.

Good comfortable, clean hotel

Good hotel, comfortable, clean, good location. Not on lake like some of the other hotels in the area and no pool, but great hotel to use as a base while exploring local area without blowing the budget. Easy access to ferry which will take you to Como and up the lake to other towns such as Bellagio and Varenna.
