"The room, location and price could not have been better. We had a mountain facing room with a large patio which was an exceptional treat. I would highly recommend this property and stay here again in a heartbeat. The gym equipment was Scandinavian and not up to American standards, but still nice to have access to equipment."

"I enjoyed my stay. The hotel is quaint, comfortable, and clean. The best part were the balconies looking out on the field where the paragliders land. Behind the field is an AMAZING view of the mountains and the Aiguille du Midi. The two logistical items worth noting are: (1) the hotel only has an elevator on one side. The young man working the front desk took my heavy bag up three floors when I checked in. But it is a little harder to get up and down if you have heavy bags and/or struggle with stairs. (2) The location is about a half a mile from the epicenter of downtown and almost a mile from the bus station and the entrance to the Aiguille du Midi. It’s a lovely walk and no problem if you’re mobile. It does make it hard to go to and from the bus station w/o an overpriced Uber ($20+ USD for a 5 min ride.) It is quieter in the evening than being right in the middle of town, for better or for worse. In the winter, it looks like a ski run ends right in front of the hotel. That’s a plus for staying here for skiing. Overall, it was a lovely hotel. I think next time I would opt to stay in the middle of town. Just makes it easier when you’re coming back and forth from daytime activities and want to change and/or grab dinner and a beer without walking back and forth."
