Getting Around: You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab. There was space to sit together and also to be more independent as needed. We had a great stay here during Storm Debbie. The owners were great about communicating and said they would provide sand bags as needed. Two leaks sprung in the upstairs apartment due to the incredibly heavy rain, and they came by with extra towels so we wouldn't have to use our bath towels to dry the walls. If so, then I'd use that one! I don't even know where to begin with all the positive things I have to say about this property. So I'm gonna start with the thing that stands out most to me...the people behind the rental of this beautiful home! I have never experienced the high level of customer service (and I have had a lot of great experiences) that I received from those managing this property. Their responsiveness to my many questions, issues that came up and them checking in on the many details to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable was always prompt and thorough. They are kind, understanding, problem solvers, considerate and just wonderful to work with! They alone would be reason enough to rent this property and any other they manage! But the property itself was just perfect for our stay! We utilized both 3 bedroom/3 bath apartments for our family during our stay for my son's wedding. The beds are super comfortable, linens were clean and plentiful, furniture was beautiful and in good condition. The kitchen was a little small, but had just about everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The appliances were unique and perfect for the style and size of the kitchen! The living and dining area were spacious with adequate seating so we were able to gather comfortably as a large family. Bathrooms are smaller, but clean and nicely done. I could go on and on, but simply put...I'd stay here again! Location is golden!! The beds were very comfortable, the location was easily within walking distance of bars and restaurants, and (perhaps most importantly) the AC provided a great relief from the hot Charleston weather! The 2 apartments worked out well for our family. The noise level was a little louder than we were expecting from street noise and the lighting is very dim, but the beds are extremely comfortable and the apartments were very clean.
