"Stayed for 4 nights in Discovery Coron. This is actually our 2nd time in this island resort. The services were great. All the staff were courteous. Special mention to Theresa who always writes special messages to us when she comes to our villa for the turn down service. Special mention to Ian, who always greet us with a beautiful smile. He always takes a step ahead to make us feel special. My partner, Larry enjoyed having a conversation with him and we noticed that he does this to every guests. He is very engaging. We will definitely comeback to this beautiful island. I wish they can renovate all the sunset villas. We explored the island and we saw a lot of constructions going on. The garden/nature villas look beautiful and spacious from the outside. I wish that when we come back for the 3rd time, there will be improvements done on all the sunset villa. Overall, we are very happy that we chose Discovery Coron again."

"We wanted to “get away” and that’s what we got at La Estancia. We get to spend quality time with family. The resort catered to our needs. PROS: >They offer airport to resort to airport transfers for a fee if less than 8 persons but if you are a group of 8, the van is free. We were a group of 16, so we only paid for the second van. >The resort offers private island lifestyle and offer breakfast/lunch/dinner for an extra charge (very reasonable pricing, mostly Filipino food menu) > Private beach > Free use of kayaks > Seaview rooms with private balconies > Wonderful staff (special mention to Nanay Auie, Ate Aiza, Ma’am Meryl and our drivers) > Clean rooms > La Estancia can book your island hopping and Coron activities and coordinate with trusted tour agencies (they made sure we enjoyed and were safe with our Coron tour) > They can make you lunch picnic for your island hopping for a separate fee (again very reasonable pricing and delicious fresh food/drinks). Our family went to Black Island and Debotunay Island CONS: > Far from town proper ( 1.5 from airport/ 2 hrs to Coron), so if you want night life, this is not your kind of resort > Internet was slow (but then again, if you want to get away…)this was just fine for us. My son was still able to log on and take his summer online classes/tests. > As of July 2025, they don’t take major credit cards ( they take cash, money transfers thru paypal/gcash) My advise is to please ask resort for updates before your stay. "We liked quiet spot with water front views. Room's we're quirky and open, but would have appreciated air conditioning and WiFi extender to the room. Also no coffee available 24/7. This would be nice. And mistakes made with invoicing in hotels favour with no apology "

"The staff is super friendly and helpful. The place is meticulously clean. It is very quiet, and everything is within walking distance. Airport transportation was smooth and arranged by the hotel staff. Port is 5 min walk away to hire a boat to go to magical islands within 20-30 minutes for snorkeling, swimming or seeing the rock formation and amazing nature. We would be repeating our visit here!"
