Cute, well located, and calm

Very quaint and calm hotel that is well located. The rooms are basic but nice, and the shower pressure was good.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff

We really enjoy the stay. The rooms were beautiful and the staff really friendly. We only stayed one night, but wish we had planned for more days in Bacalar. If we come back we will use same hotel again. Only minus was that the air con in one of the rooms doesn’t worked.

Great for a Quick Stop

We stayed here one night before our resort on the lake was ready. It was perfect for what we needed. Comfy beds, air, a nice patio for morning coffee, and two pools. Breakfast was great and the front desk was very helpful. Great location in town, close to restaurants and the fort.

Nice hotel, great location

This is nice clean hotel in a great location. Good breakfast. Nice pool although we did not use it ad there were a few too many kids jump and habjng fun.

The front desk attendant was delightful. Great breakfast cooked, darling location. I loved that they locked the gate at night so we felt safe. Absolutely loved it!

Very nice hotel

Cute hotel not far from downtown. Easy to locate with parking. Loved the breakfast but the kitchen staff wasn’t the friendliest. Receptionist was great and very helpful. Rooms were big and spacious. The shower pressure was not the best but I would def stay here again! Pool was very nice but closes at 8:00 pm.

Surprised

Well we travel a lot and I have to say I am totally surprised at this gem of a hotel. We wanted something within walking distance of restaurants, piers, attractions. The location is excellent! The staff are amazing, the hotel Is so charming and clean, and the amenities are great. It has 2 pools, loungers, hammocks and a nice hot buffet breakfast is included.oh they supplied 4 bottles of water in the mini fridge for free and had a water refill station at the reception desk. I would definitely stay here again.

Great stay.

Lovely place to stay, a good sized room, bathroom and balcony with hammock. Staff are wonderful and very helpful, even helped us to contact local tour company for onward travel. Breakfast was nice, (it would be great to have coffee making in the room, but this was available at reception. Location is good, just back from the lake but central to restaurants and shops. Highly recommend!

The property is clean, the staff are very attentive and the location is great. All of the staff speak excellent english, so communication was never a problem for us. The wifi worked perfect which was a pleasant surprise. Overall I thought we recieved good value for what we paid and i would not hesitate to stay at the Azul 36 again
