"Met the host at Verona airport and driven to accomadation. On the way host was pointing out places of interest, though a communications inbalce as we didnt speak German or Dutch. We got by At the property we meet Anna the hosts wife where both my partner and her manage the language barrier through speaking french. "The description of the unit was accurate and the place was very clean. The concerns we had was mostly poor communications. We dealt with Claudia's mother who didn't speak very much English so there was little if any information provided upon check in. This lack of communication contributed to not having any heat as the owner had control through "an App" which was compounded as he was away. "I think I must have got the best deal for accommodation in Verona! This is a 2-room apartment (including a little kitchen and sofa), in excellent condition with a perfect location (near the main square, Piazza Bra). The only disadvantage is that you have to check in/out at a different location, a nearby hotel, but whose staff were helpful. The building may not have a grand entrance but is next to the river and close to a supermarket (just 3 minutes walk south on the main street)."

"We were in Bardolino for my stepdaughter's wedding. My brother-in-law and his family stayed in the downstairs unit and my husband and other family members stayed in the upstairs unit. It was so wonderful to all be together. There were 18 of us but it didn't feel crowded at all. There was plenty of space to spread out and the balcony with the view was to die for. "That was our first visit to Verona and we had a brilliant time.Hotel San Luca was great and exceeded our expectations.Location was perfect for exploring the town but at same time it’s positioned in a quiet street so it very peaceful..It was convenient for reaching train station quickly and easily too.Room was good size,very clean and modern.Bed was really comfortable and we had a great night sleep.We stayed for two nights and after the first one room was cleaned and tidied which surprised us pleasantly.Breakfast was very delicious and abundant including sweet(croissants,cakes,muffins) and savoury(cheeses,ham,salami,spreads)food.Excellent selection of bread rolls,muesli,jams and drinks.Staff and especially Milena was amazing,friendly and helpful and answered all our questions.We couldn’t ask for better experience!"
