I do not like to leave one star reviews unless there was a significant breach in what was promised versus what was delivered. L Things started going downhill the moment we arrived. The room was damp when we entered and figured out why pretty quickly. 1. The bathroom did not have any ventilation causing moisture buildup in the room. There was what appeared to this pink orange slime on the bathroom floor, toilet, bathtub, and shower curtain. It was evident that it had not been cleaned properly in at least a few weeks. 2. The room’s overall condition felt unclean. Mind you, I am not a germaphobe, but this room made me feel uneasy. 3. The bedspreads had cigarette holes in them 4. It rained while we were there and the parking lot filled up like a swimming pool and there were only a few dry places to park. This triggered a massive fight with front desk and a guest at 2 AM. 5. This is just a quirk, but management turned off the hallway lights during the day which was very strange and unsettling. 6. No iron in the room. Front desk had one, but no ironing board. I was advised to use the bed or the countertop. I opted for bed. We never felt unsafe, just unclean. I wouldn’t stay here again, but the reservation was non refundable and we couldn’t leave as it was my son’s wedding.
