I was expecting a great place since the base fare was "stated to be" +150$ and I paid less than half of that. I paid TOO MUCH. I felt mislead and fooled. Not sure whose fault was that. Hotel or hotels.com. Anyway, I was not provide with any toiletries. There was no fan in the bathroom and the condensation there, after 2 people took a shower was annoying, dripping all night long when I had to go to the bathroom. The worst part was the breakfast. There was no milk or water on the serving table. I had to ask 3 times for three cups of milk and was told that there was no ambient temperature water for my vitamin C. Only hot water for tea. However, they had several bottles of water in the reception but only "for sale."

Staff treated everyone like family Staff went out of their way to help and made sure all your needs were met! Everyone in Cusco went through top knotch hospitality training!!!

The lady who owns and runs Chabela Host, is quite literally the nicest woman in the world. My room and bathroom were super clean, she gives plenty of blankets, there is hot water with decent water pressure, and she provides a breakfast at your request. I’m only sorry, I couldn’t stay longer. The place is a little hard to find from the street. Upon entrance, you need to walk all the way down to where the street ends and the only option is a left hand turn. Don’t turn! Just knock on the door in front of you :)

The hotel staff was very welcoming and helpful throughout our entire stay. When we arrived, we were helped by a bellhop who held the doors open, carried our luggages, and assisted us to our hotel room. The front desk was very friendly explaining all of the hotel services (e.g., Wi-Fi password, complimentary teas and filtered water refilling station, breakfast, etc.). The hotel room was very clean and spacious. The beds were large and comfortable with lots of overhead and nightstand lighting. The bathrooms were very clean with shampoo and hot water in the showers. The hotel's restaurant was also exceptional with great variety, quality, and presentation of food.
