If you have to travel to the Twin Cities area, Maple Grove is a nice option out of downtown yet close enough to everything on the 494 loop. This Hilton Garden Inn is tremendous amongst those options. We checked in at 9:50, and the manager alerted us to the restaurant/bar closing in 10 minutes. 10 minutes before close on a Thursday, most restaurants are busy in their shut down procedures. Fred not only kept the kitchen open, but we had a steak that was better than most places calling themselves a steak restaurant (and we're from Montana where we know steak). The Hotel was incredibly clean and every member of the staff we encountered were happy, engaging, and helpful. Do yourself a favor and stay here; and believe me try the steak.
