The pool area and halls/ lobby area were so hot and the chlorine smell was so bad. Our room was clean however it’s advertised wrong the king room shows pics with a kitchen, but it’s the king suite that has the kitchen. And I’ve never stayed in a hotel where there was no mini fridge. Other than that it was a decent stay

Keys wouldnt unlock the door to room took several trips to front desk to just get into the room. Once in the room sheets on bed had stains and hair on them. Told front desk about it. Had to walk to the front desk again to get clean ones and had to actually take the other ones off and put clean on..... didnt know i was getting a second job when checking in.

The property was very nice, you can tell it used to be a very beautiful place in its golden days and they've tried to keep up on the appearances of the facilities. The pool was oddly salty...like VERY salty. I'm not sure what that was about but it was strange. The staff were very different... The man who checked me in was pretty unhelpful. When we asked for an extra towel and set of bedding we were told they didn't have any and when I booked the room I called to double check that they had roll-away beds available but when we got there I was told he didn't have that either. The women who were working the desk however were VERY helpful. The night desk lady even walked to the entire opposite end of the hotel to get us fresh blankets and our much needed extra towel. The desk clerk from the morning did a wonderful job keeping the breakfast bar stocked and the dining area clean and accessible.

The price for the room was way overpriced! The hotel was outdated, air was out throughout most of the building, there were multiple leaks in the ceilings from rain with active asbestos flying through the air (popcorn ceiling) and housekeeping is a joke! Multiple occasions I had to go to the desk to get replacement towels, wash clothes etc! Bang for the price NOT THERE! BUYER BEWARE!!!!

The property is old and not maintained well. It's extremely hot in the public parts of the hotel. The rooms provided the cooling though. There is garbage in the parking lot, and around the inside of the hotel. We had a half eaten chicken wing on the floor outside our room for the whole stay. The room was old. The refrigerator looked like people used it for a soccer ball. There holes in the walls from the door handles. The staff was really very nice. They addressed our concerns quickly. All in all I can't recommend anyone stay there. It's not worth any money you would save.

The first floor was incredibly hot and humid and smelled of mildew from the pool. The pool itself has a strange fog coming from it. We were on the second floor, and had to travel to the sixth floor to get ice because literally every single ice machine on each floor did not work. There was no fridge or microwave in our room, so ice was incredibly necessary! And most importantly, while leaving on Saturday, we learned that our door wasn’t latching shut! Thankfully we didn’t have anything important in our room, since we were in too much of a hurry to do anything about it. When we were inside the room, we were able to use the deadbolt, but if no one was inside to bolt it, anyone could just push on the door to open it.

Even though property is close to highway it's fairly quiet area. Negatives: Pool is inside main courtyard with rooms on all sides and obviously not sufficient ventilation of sauna/hot tub heat. The area was extremely humid and I could barely breathe because of my lung problems. In addition, the heat from the pool area kept our room at almost 80 degrees. The ac couldn't keep up. The toilet gasket was broken so the toilet tank wouldn't fill so for the first hour all we heard was the constant sound of water running. It only stopped after I filled the tank completely using the ice bucket to dump water from sink. At reservation we asked for roll-away bed and when we got to the room it wasn't there, the bedding was sitting there but no roll-away. It took almost 3 hours and 4 reminders to staff to have bed delivered. I wouldn't stay there again with our getting an outside view and away from the pool area.

While it definitely was a hot spell in Ohio, the lobby, hallways and elevator were a sauna. My actual room was nice and quiet but took forever to cool down. I felt bad for the check-in staff (who were great) because of the heat. Outside appearance and inside common areas need a facelift.

This was my third time staying at this hotel but it will be the last time. Hotel needs updating. Torn drapes at the end of the hall near room. Broken ironing board in room that couldn’t be stored in closet. Had to change rooms because no stopper for bathroom sink. No maid service. Note in room said we would receive fresh towels on 3rd day but didn’t. The free breakfast was very limited-cereal and waffles. I will say the staff was very friendly and accommodating and the shower had good water pressure.

We had to use the sofa sleeper.And it was very stained on the mattress pad. The couch had stains all over it too. The air conditioner did not work.It stayed on an error message.So it was hot and muggy in the room. There was no hair dryer. Requested someone to come and look at the air conditioner and to bring us a hair dryer and that never happened. We were there for a softball tournament and expecting to get some ice and on all six floors the ice machines were not working. Got there expecting to use the pool only to find out they must close it by 9:00.

Not bad. The lady who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. The facility is pretty run down. The bar and restaurant appear to both be permanently closed. It looks like a Big facility to try to run as a budget hotel. All around, we'd come back.

The person at the front desk was very pleasant and efficient. My room & the bathroom were clean & comfortable. I did expect a small refrigerator & microwave. I should have read the amenities more carefully. My fault. As noted by others the decor was older and dated. A musty smell greeted me as I walk in the building but thankfully not in my room. As I walked back to the elevators past what appeared to be an old restaurant and Tiki bar the area was very warm, perhaps due to the indoor pool.
