“Stayed overnight whilst spending a few days fishing on the local river. A warm welcome on arrival and a nice little clean room with everything I needed (comfy bed, warm shower, tv etc). Breakfast was freshly cooked and very good value at £9.85. Beer was also very good and a great selection. Staff were really friendly and happy to have a natter. Look forward to returning next year!”

“Very good value for money. Initially a bit apprehensive as I was staying alone with teenage son and our room was right at the entrance to the bar on the ground floor. It felt very safe though - staff and locals using the bar were all very friendly and there were no problems with noise at all. Clean and comfortable room too. The bar area has a nice atmosphere too. It was quiet enough during the day to sit in a corner and work off my laptop (great coffee served!) and then busier at night where...
