"If you are looking for a unique adventure on the water, this is for you. We were 3 sisters visiting Tofino for a couple of days. Communication with the host was great. Accommodation is as pictured, a very large, comfy, one room floating houseboat - one of a collection of houseboats off Strawberry Island. We enjoyed sitting on the dock for sunset cocktails. There is also a viewing portal cut out of the living floor to watch the fish and other aquatic life below. You are very close to shore with a good vantage point to watch boating activity, and wildlife. Hosts are experienced boaters and very accommodating with shuttle over to the mainland. You can find everything there for your stay; grocery store, liquor stores, restaurants, shops, museums, art galleries. We visited the Roy Henry Vickers Gallery; a very peaceful, beautiful showcase for his fine art.Of note: The houseboat sits off Strawberry Island which is also home to the retired NorVan Ferry. The ferry was hauled out of the water and now sits nestled on the shore. Pretty awesone to see it perched there."
