"Come for the view, if not the sleep. One of the best spots in Tofino for the ocean views but the beds creak so loudly, you can't sleep! Poor mattresses and beds for such a location. Otherwise "OK" resort on a spectacular piece of land. "

"We just spent two days at Long Beach Lodge Resort and had an excellent stay. The room was immaculate and very comfortable, with cosy armchairs and a fireplace to relax by. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had a nice sized shower as well as a roomy bathtub. The deck looked out directly onto the beach with fantastic views. All staff were friendly and helpful. The food and cocktails in the restaurant were all delicious, and we found the menu to be varied with many appealing options. We would definitely return for another visit."

"This is certainly a paradise on water with a cozy feel that is legendary. There is quite a history with the family that owns Strawberry Island. Our host Pearl was so friendly and accommodating. She is definitely an island professional with stellar boating skills. With our family of 5; 3 kids under 12 years old and a chocolate lab, this place was perfect for us. The kitchen was well equipped, but when we were there the oven didn't work. It didn't matter to us because we only used the stove-top. There were a variety of fun games, including cribbage and battleship. The viewing hole on the floor was a hit with the kids. Every morning and evening as part of our bed time routine, we would look down into the water and watch a few small fish swim by. There is a good working heater that heats up the place quickly and adequately, but be mindful of the propane tank levels. Waking up on the water is just a beautiful experience. We even saw a harbour seal right outside a few feet away from our window. Various wildlife everywhere, this place truly was exceptional."

"This place was fabulous! Well appointed, with an unbeatable view from the main floor, deck and hot tub! We spotted whales from the deck on three separate days during our stay. It's also a short walk into town, which was very convenient for lunch, shopping, etc. We hope to stay there again soon!"
