Terrible Experience – No Hot Water and Bed Bug Concerns
My experience at Days Inn in Clemson, South Carolina, was extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and stress-free place to stay. What should have been a relaxing visit turned into a frustrating and unpleasant experience due to serious concerns about basic hotel necessities, including hot water and the condition of the room.
First, the lack of hot water was completely unacceptable. After paying for a hotel room, the absolute minimum a guest should expect is access to hot water for showering and maintaining basic personal hygiene. Having to deal with no hot water made the stay incredibly inconvenient and uncomfortable. Guests should not have to worry about whether they will be able to take a proper shower after a long day of traveling or activities. Hot water is not a luxury or an extra amenity; it is a basic requirement that every hotel should provide.
Even more concerning was the issue of bed bugs. Nothing makes a hotel stay more stressful than worrying about whether the bed you are sleeping in is clean and safe. Bed bugs are a serious concern because they can cause itchy bites, disrupt sleep, and potentially travel home with guests in their luggage or belongings. The possibility of dealing with bed bugs is enough to make anyone question the cleanliness and maintenance standards of a hotel.
