"This place was everything we wanted for a quiet, scenic weekend getaway. The river is steps away and has a beach area to set up chairs, fish, and swim. The view from the back is an open field and wooded area. The covered area over the camper has a constant breeze even on the hot weekend. There is a fire pit and we were able to get enough driftwood to get a fire going. Hookups were easy and clean. Do your research and have all the things you need before you get here. It is a good distance from stores but an absolutely beautiful drive. We will definitely be coming back"

" We really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere at Hummingbird Haven cottage. The hummingbirds were so beautiful and also very brave as one actually landed on our puppies head. The first floor has a living room, kitchen, dining table, bathroom and bedroom. The downstairs bedroom has a King size bed that is very comfortable. Upstairs has two bedrooms and a bathroom. We utilized the bedroom with the queen size bed that was comfortable, providing a peaceful nights sleep. The neighbor was nice a quiet. We did a lot of porch sitting as the weather was beautiful during our stay. The hosts were very responsive to our messages. We hope to stay here again on our next visit, we highly recommend Misty and Michael’s Hummingbird Haven. The hummingbirds are so fun to watch. They will literally fly all around you. There are deer that walk right in the yard. We got to see a doe and fawn together during our stay. "

"This the perfect place to stay if you want easy access to the Shiloh National Battlefield. It is less than a ten minute drive and the rooms are nice. It’s not a fancy hotel but it was perfect for us as we spent multiple days at the battlefield. "
