We had a lot of trouble when none of the appliances worked because of an electric problem and you had to be a brain surgeon to get the washer to work

Staff friendly rooms nice Breakfast lack of fresh fruit and yoghurt The big disappointment was the spa it was not as the photos and was dated and clearly needs refurbished! That was the biggest disappointment for me as I chose the hotel for the dps

Felt like it could've been a beautiful hotel in the 70s, but has definitely aged.

We had a great stay at the Palm (1 night). Location is excellent, right along the main street facing the water. Several restaurants and shops nearby (including restaurant and bar in the Palm). Nearby activities such as the walk around and up the little mountain, and strolling the promenade. Was about a 10 minute walk from the train station. Room was clean and spacious. The walk in shower was lovely. In the intro email from the Palm they noted it can be loud some nights due to the bar, but we were there on a Monday night and it was very quiet. The front desk staff was pleasant, helpful, and kept our luggage for us before we were able to check in. We would stay here again if ever in the area.
