"A beautiful place which is cozy and nicely decorated and furnished—a little out of town for a quiet, soothing visit. Outdoor dining area, lovely pool and a large play area with all sorts of sports equipment. A well-stocked kitchen, cd player and a variety of cds. Upstairs is a nice area to relax, watch tv, read, etc. All the bedrooms were very nice. Highly recommend Patrick’s lovely home and hospitality. Great base to visit regional chateaus."

"Precious little farmhouse in a village not far from Blois. Marie-Claire and Marie-Claude were both very attentive and gracious hosts. Upkeep of the house could have been a little better but considering it is a 400+ year old house it was quite pleasant. It would be nice if the history of the house was posted somewhere. Would have loved to know how this house was used back in the day. Overall enjoyed our brief stay."

"This was an excellent property for a party of 12 adults ranging from 25-86 and two dogs. Exceptionally well appointed, the outside eating and cooking areas especially. Great fun making pizzas and memories!"

"Along with another family, we stayed at this fabulous place in August 2023 for our summer holiday. Four children (aged 4-10 years old) and four adults had a great time. The property was very clean, well equipped and the pool, hot-tub and gardens were loved by us during our stay. The outdoor kitchen/BBQ area was a fab feature that we made great use of as the weather was lovely and warm. The bedrooms were well equipped with fans so sleeping during the warm evenings for the children was no problem, and the beds were large and comfortable. The playroom area for the children was an unexpected bonus which they loved. The large screen cinema projector in the sitting room made me want to reconsider my TV purchase at home. It was great. The children loved the animals (chickens and goats in the garden), and the daily visit to collect the eggs was a highlight. Lovely eggs on toast! Florence and Abdel were so accommodating and friendly. By far they are the best hosts we have ever experienced. Their dog Quartz was the sweetest, most gentle dog and we loved it when she wandered over to say hello on a few occasions. They did check upon arrival that we were OK with a dog and I’m sure if we weren’t, Abdel and Florence would have ensured she kept her distance, but she was a very well trained dog and we loved seeing her. We thoroughly recommend this place for your holidays, and if we visit the Loire region again, this will be top of our list. Thank you Florence and Abdel. Mike"

"Fabulous 1-bedroom place. The remodel work is top-notch. Communication with Patrick (owner) was great. He provided a document full of off-the-beaten-path activities. Brigitte, the local manager, was very helpful at check-in and check-out. Large doors in the living room really open up the place in the evening. Glass railing and colored LED lights are hints at the high-tech feel of the place. The location is great as you are quick driving distance to area attractions or you can stay home and read a book."
