"This was our second year in a row returning to this amazing property, this year we added another day. It’s just so well kept and peaceful. The hospitality is amazing, wonderful welcome gifts such as baked bread and jam and cookies. Really peaceful and tranquil private setting. We love the fact that it’s like a mix of the woods and the farm all at once and with such close proximity to some great Area towns and markets. We are thankful for David extending his hospitality and plan to return again...

"My girlfriend and I were traveling to the area to attend the PA Ren fest. This was a lovely little town to stay in. The house had so much space for two people and was well decorated. The owner came to greet us when we arrived. Lovely little cat that lives on the property came to greet us each night. Highly recommend this spot "

"The property is very peaceful! The home is spacious and well thought out - air hockey was a great hit with the kids! This was our 2nd stay and the property is awesome - it is a scenic drive to Lancaster and surrounding areas. We enjoyed our stay and are trying to plan a return trip!"

"It was easy to get to from the highway which is important to me. The place was neat & clean & well decorated. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. I have a bad back but had no problems in the morning. Would highly recommend it. One thing I could suggest....if the owner's car could be left out of the driveway long enough so the renters could back in to unload & load their cars."

"My wife and I wanted a nice, comfortable place to stay on our trip to Lancaster. This place was perfect. 15-20 minutes from downtown Lancaster. Nice country setting. Very comfortable bed and the shower was AMAZING! It is close to a local fire station but mercifully no fire alarms at night while we were sleeping! 😉"

"We came to celebrate our anniversary. It was a beautiful place, right on the water. It was very clean and there were plenty of things to do. We enjoyed the hot tub, the kayaks, and the couples games inside. We had Woody’s tacos and it was very good. The next morning we had coffee on the patio, and the water hitting the shore was music to my ears! The neighbors were a little too curious, but that’s alright, it was still a perfect stay. We will definitely be back. I give it 5 stars. "

"We have stayed many times in the Lancaster area. This definitely our favorite trip! The cottage was clean, beautiful decor, great outdoor seating area and hot tub. Our host- Daniel- went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and were comfortable. We will definitely be staying there again! I would highly recommend!! "
