We liked staying a bit away from town, easy golf cart ride to downtown Placencia. Check-in and communication was excellent. We hope to return soon! "

"This property is beautiful from the moment you walk in the front door and can see the white sand beach and turquoise water thru the floor to ceiling windows in the back of the house. The infinity pool is where you can relax or cool off at anytime of the day or night. There is a poolside grill or a fully furnished kitchen for all your cooking needs. All the bedrooms have comfy beds and individual a/c units to keep everyone comfortable. Don't miss the views from the balconies. I can't wait to go...

"The Lion Fish retreat was clean, conveniently located on the waterfront with views of the mountain rage and lagoon. We had a great stay here in this dome-like rental. Love the architecture"

"The townhouse was very nice. I guess we missed in the description that you could only go by pontoon to town as this is on an island. Also, make sure you tell your taxi driver to take Sunset Point Road - we don't know where the name Manatee came into place and our taxi wanted to take us to the Manatee Inn which is not the right place."

"If you're looking for that "Not a resort" vibe, this is your place. Quite, clean and comfortable. Checking in and out was as in obtrusive as it gets. Everything was as advertised, the atmosphere is quiet and safe. The accommodations were clean and as advertised."
