"I booked this property after a disappointing experience at an AIRBNB on south Caye Caulker. Alyssa (sp?) greeted me with a cool fruit drink upon arrival and it set the tone for the rest of the stay. The property is beautiful, clean and bug-free (except for mosquitos once you get away from the grounds). The best part of the stay was the staff. It feels like family (and some of them are). Just nice people."

"Nice small boutique hotel with a lovely pool - the pool has a great view of the river, and a swim up bar. I'm not a big drinker, but had a fantastic selection of juices available every day. The person I was with tried a new mixed drink every day. The restaurant is lovely and generally quiet; we also had a good selection of breakfast buffet each day. And the service was always excellent - if I could give them 20/10 I would. Our suite was fantastic - a real suite with a living room and 2 separate bedrooms. All of them with a great view of the river outside. As a hotel, it is slightly better for people who are driving themselves. We frequently relied on the hotel's internal shuttle service (not free, but generally cheaper than getting a taxi), and it limited our dinner options. I expect that to change shortly - I can see the area being more built up in a year or so."

"This property was so much fun and was very pretty! You only had to walk out side to the doc to do fun things like snorkeling, scuba diving, or shopping. It feels secluded but it's right in town and there are tons of fun shops and so many awesome places to eat, but the food there is awesome too. Will definitely be coming back with our kids! "
