"Overall the hotel was decent. We were hoping to use the hot tub but it wasn't working. There were a couple of items that weren't quite right. The body lotion was empty and the shampoo bottle fell off the wall. The room itself was quiet and clean. The breakfast was not bad. I would stay there again"

"Friendly staff, quick check in, easy parking. Room was clean and comfortable. Easy access to Bear Mountain. Nice restaurant. No elevator in Overlook Lodge so a few trips required to bring luggage upstairs."

"There are several things that need updating, and a few need repair. The faucet in the bathroom sink was quite loose, not sitting tight against the sink itself, and I could find no way to tighten it. There was no leakage, but it was a bit disconcerting. The towel bar came apart; I was able to put it back together. The owner came out to offer to switch my room based on my earlier comments about there not being a table/desk or chair so I could set up my computer. I declined the switch because I had already settled into the room and had managed to set my computer up on one of the nightstands. Yes, a chair would have been great, but I made do with what I had. Overall, the room was clean, which was the most important thing to me. I would stay there again."
