"Poor climate control in the room. A sweaty 21 degrees at night and baby was overheating. Could t change the individual wall unit in the room As it was fixed and locked out. Called down to reception 1am who changed the masted thermostat to 19c which helped but the aircon came on cold and dry which was not comfortable. Sore dry throats and baby now sick with cold and cough. Very uncomfortable night. Unfortunate couldn’t open any windows for fresh air. Breakfast incredibly disappointing compared to the Hampton by Hilton’s we stayed up before. Very limited options. Nothing healthy, no salad or veg, no oats or gluten-free options. Would not cater for allergies no request for the cooked breakfast as things were apparently prepared. Though I know they had a fully equipped kitchen outback and this was likely possible. Just had to eat ham and baked beans. Didn’t have the hotel getaway nice breakfast vibe that we are expecting."

"When we arrived we tried to book into the spa but then got told it was full and would not be able to use the spa during our stay which was one of the main reasons we booked the hotel. We got told that we would be upgraded due to the above but this was already done for my partners 30th birthday and was not done due to not being able to use spa (there was a card in the room already - this is how we knew). Breakfast was ok but the selection was poor and due to going a little later there was a lot of items that was not available and had to wait for. The spa (which we managed to get into eventually) - it was a nice spa, very nice and clean! However the sauna was not hot and the steam room was not steamy. Overall - nice hotel, spacious room with a view but certain things let down the stay which is a shame as we were celebrating a 30th birthday and had high expectations from a high rated hotel. "
