This was a great place to stay In Manitou Springs. Easy to walk to the historic district and felt safe. Rooms were decent, hotel was quiet, overall a good experience.

Great hotel. Nothing fancy, but was what we needed for hiking. The room was a bit dark and could use more lighting, but it was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and they had a water bottle filler, which was nice for hiking.

The property is one of the nicer ones in the area. The room and hotel itself are clean and well-maintained. The breakfast that’s included is nice and has many options, including both hot and cold choices. The woman who runs breakfast is lovely and does a great job. The other hotel staff is okay; most of them didn’t say hello or act friendly in any way. It is strange walking through a lobby on multiple occasions and having staff completely ignore you. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay!

Staff was very friendly, it was a pretty quiet location and also conveniently located next to a lot of attractions. The rooms need an inspection or overhaul though. Our first rooms smoke detector was dying, so there was that constant annoying beep. The staff member was great and moved us to a different room because he had to wait on maintenance to change the battery. However the second room had its pitfalls as well. The bathroom fan didn't work and there was unrepaired water damage in the shower. Other than that it was a good place to stay and if I had to I wouldn't mind staying again.

The hotel was nice and so was the pool. The breakfast was good but could have used some plain cereal like cheerios or rice krispies. There were a lot of other good things. The room was a good size. The staff was helpful and pleasant. There was no bar soap with which to wash your hands. We had to use the facial bar or body wash.

While it was plenty cool enough in the mountains, you have to use a fan for circulation in the room. To be fair, this is a high mountain hotel set up for winter accommodation. We did enjoy the room and scenery and local foods.
